What is ZipX Pre-Alert?
The ZIPX Pre-Alert is a new feature that is designed to monitor and process your shipments faster.
EXAMPLE:
On receipt of confirmation of your order being shipped from your supplier/vendor, you are required to update our pre-alert via our website www.zipx.com under the heading PRE-ALERT. This provides IBC Miami with your shipment information prior to receiving it and allows faster processing of your shipment.
Why do I have to use ZipX Pre-Alert?
This added feature alerts and provides IBC with vital information about your shipment prior to its arrival at our facility in Miami and allows faster processing of you shipment.
What is the ZipX service?
ZipX is a service that lets you have a physical address in the United States (USA). Most of the US companies that sell through the Internet, telephone or catalog make deliveries within the US only.
ZipX gives you a physical address in Miami, Florida where you can receive your purchases within the US.
Once your goods / purchases are received at your ZipX US address, IBC will take care of all the steps, necessary to deliver to you at your doorstep.
How does ZipX work?
Once you have registered and have been assigned a ZipX account number, you can make purchases at your favorite stores in the United States, through the Internet, telephone or catalog and send the purchases or documents to your physical address in Miami, Florida. There, ZipX will make sure it is shipped and delivered to your home/office.
To ensure that your package arrives at your ZipX Address in Miami we recommend that you use a courier service company that delivers within the U.S. like FedEx, UPS, DHL, or even the U.S. Postal Service as they use tracking systems via the Internet and can provide a proof of delivery (P.O.D.).

Upon arrival into your country, IBC will proceed to clear and deliver the package to your local registered address in your country.
ZipX will only charge you the freight rate based on the weight, plus the duty and Taxes from Customs & Excise if applicable.
How do I open a ZipX account?
To get a ZipX account, the first thing you should do is to sign up online at www.zipx.com or contact an IBC customer service agent at 305-591-8080. You will be required to register with IBC and then a ZipX account will be provided to you.

Yes. Upon request you can pick up your packages at our local office. IBC standard service is to deliver free of charge to your office/home registered address.
Is there a limit to the number of purchases that I can buy through the Internet, Catalogues, Magazines,etc.?
There is no limit for the amount of purchases you can buy through the Internet.

Will there be additional costs when I want my packages delivered to my home or office address?
No. Delivery is free.

Are the Customs duty and Taxes included in ZipX rates?
No, ZipX rates only comprise of freight charges only.
Will I have to pay Customs Duties?
Duties and Taxes are accessed by Customs & Excise based on the type of goods/commodity and will be payable to IBC upon collection or delivery of your packages.
As part of our value added services, IBC will clear the packages through Customs & Excise and pay the duty and Taxes on your behalf.
What can I send through my ZipX Service?
Any type of goods/commodity that are not considered prohibited or illegal material.
